for everyone
Went to a Buddhist temple a few weeks ago. The temple is located along N. Domingo (pass San Juan and the Magnolia Ice Cream Factory), near Cubao. It's one of the more simplier temples that my mom frequent (and also a place that I find serene and cozy). The veggie food there is simple but delicious. I'll try to post some pics of the food next time we visit.

Here are some pictures I took of the garden statues and figurines.

alan, i see a lot of buddhist temples here in street corners, big temples, bus stops. why do they put red bibs on buddha? sometimes they dress up the figurine but the prominent fashion is the red bib.

what i like about bhouddhisme is that the church do not normally proselytize but i have over heard reports of an aggressive offshoot in singapour that do.

is anhg (the avatar) somewhere in there?

red bibs? maybe that's the fad there in japan. but then again, japan's buddhism is a local mixture of shitoism and buddhism... so might be different from the confusian-buddhism what we have in the philippines (which we inherited primarily from Taiwan and Hong Kong)
