Blog EntryPLDT = Sucky Customer ServiceJan 21, '08 9:03 PM
for everyone
Our landline phone at home has been dead for five days now.

I have been calling up PLDT everyday, following up on the repair. The customer service people there are useless. I doubt they even care or sympathize with the customer's problem, they are merely following a script.

Heck I already memorized their dialogue and lines.

"Let me check the records sir..."

"I'm sorry sir, but according to our files, someone already checked the line" (eh bakit ba sira?!)

"I will write a ticket and notify the technical team..." (you've been writing tickets everytime I call you up.)

"Medyo busy lang ang technical team ngayon, but they will fix your phone as soon as they are available" (kelan? when hell freezes over?)

Good thing my mom applied for a bayantel phone. At least we have another landline phone available for use. The annoying thing is, my internet access is connected to the PLDT line.... that means no internet at home until the phone company fixes this mess.

You'd think that PLDT would be shaking in its boots now that there's competition but they still behave like a monopoly.

Yep, the biggest telecommunications industry in the country as ONE FUCKING hotline. Tapos ang sasagot pa, call center na walang alam, hindi technicians.

Pathetic no?

move to QC and switch to bayantel!

lines are fixed within 24 hrs of your call (even if you call at 2am) or they subtract 500 bucks from your bill per 24 hrs that the problem hasn't been fixed. YES THEY DO THIS! Mwahahaha

Know what, there was I time I was fuming mad over PLDT customer service that I was able to get the home phone of the CS manager as well as the number of emergency dispatch unit (aka engineering section) out of fear of the CS agent I was talking to hahahahaha.... The emergency unit was dumbfounded when I called them up hehehehehe

hay naku, kami rin. we requested to have our DSL bandwidth downgraded kasi we have a redundant DSL with globe. they've been giving us the run around kasi my hubby's family has had the line since early 2000--yung hindi pa uso ang DSL.
