The first Forgotten Realm trilogy has finally been reprinted (though I still prefer the original pictures). The Moonshae isles is loosely based on the Celtic and Nordic mythos. One thing that I loved about this trilogy is the concept of the Earthmother - a nature goddess who is one with the land itself. The druids of Moonshae serve as the priests and protectors of the Earthmother.
The three books focus on the plight of the druids, as well as the people of Moonshae. Terrible evil has been unleashed and it is up to an unlikely band of heroes to help save the isles and the Earthmother.
they should write a book about the undead under an opposite light. that they're not "evil" in the sense that they exist to harm the living. and that the true evil are the living for they almost always are in the habit of destroying those which are different/unknown ..

I think that was the point of the White Wolf Word of Darkness series.
